The Cuckoo Flower or Lady's Smock is flowering in the field below. It is a boggy lakeside area perfect for this delicate little flower to flourish. Some of their petals are white while others are tinged with lilac or pink. How did I identify it? There is a fantastic website www.irishwildflowers.ie.
