This evening the rain stopped and it was light. The sun shone on the corner of a field and I saw what I thought were golden flowers in the distance. When I got up closer I saw that they were apples which had bent the tree so far that a large branch had broken off. The light and the variety of fruit on the hedgerows distracted me from the burden of a hard days work. I found myself wishing that I could be out in the fields more of the time but was cheered by the rare beautiful evening warmth.
Work life balance is proving to be a bit of a challenge at the moment, how do you manage it?
